(Vallejo, Calif.) – The West Coast Series makes its second stop of the Spring season on February 18-19, 2012 at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club as several of the top juniors take to the course in the hopes of rising to the top of the leaderboard.

The West Coast Series at Hiddenbrooke boasts stunning views and a world class course layout.  Challenging, yet beautiful wetlands and dramatic elevations make sure that this course lives up to all the expectations of a golf course designed by the legend, Arnold Palmer.

Hiddenbrooke spent three years as the host course for the Samsung World Championship on the LPGA Tour, where two of the best players in the history of women’s golf, Juli Inkster and Annika Sorenstam won championships.  Since its completion in 1995, Hiddenbrooke remains a highly desirable course to play by professionals and amateurs alike.  This course also remains as only one of a handful of courses to have received a four and a half start rating from Golf Digest.

First Round play will begin at 8:00 am on Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19 with the trophy presentation following the final round recognizing tournament champions. Competitors will be split into three divisions making up the Boys 15-19, Boys 14 & Under, and Girls Divisions. This event will be nationally ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard.

Founded in 1995, the IJGT is home to over 2,000 of the brightest young stars in the world of golf. This event is one of many to be held throughout the country this year by the IJGT, as well as events hosted in Canada and Scotland.

IJGT Alumni include Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan from the PGA Tour as well as Paula Creamer, Song Hee Kim, and In-Kyung Kim from the LPGA Tour.
