IJGT Partners with Alabama Junior Golf Association
IJGT & AJGO to Build New Opportunities
The International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) is proud to announce a new partnership with the Alabama Junior Golf Association (AJGO) (www.alabamajuniorgolf.org). As an international tour we are always trying to grow and seek new opportunities. Not only will it generate larger fields but this partnership will also produce stronger competition.
Members of the AJGO will now be able to play a nationally ranked tournament schedule, which will be beneficial to the development of junior golfers trying to reach the next level of their game. Through this partnership, the IJGT will be offering a free membership for the spring 2012 season, as well as 5 exemptions to the Bridgestone Golf Tournament of Champions at Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Florida.
- Top finishers of all IJGT events will generate merit points, which are used to determine the IJGT Player of the Year (one for each division: Boys 15-19 Division, Boys 14 & Under Division, the and Girls Divisions).
- Winners of any IJGT event will receive an invite to the IJGT Bridgestone Golf Tournament of Champions at Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Florida.

More Information about AJGO

At the same time, they work aggressively to promote 1-day Tournaments to help juniors gain tournament experience. They also conduct a number of State Qualifying Tournaments for junior golf in Alabama.
The AJGO will be hosting a qualifier for The IJGT Bridgestone Golf Tournament of Champions (TOC). The IJGT State Qualifier for the AJGO will take place at the Indian Pines Golf Course on April 7, 2012. The AJGO will be awarding five (5) exemptions to the first and second place finishers in all divisions for the IJGT TOC. For more information about this event click here.
Good luck to all of the AJGO competitors, and we look forward to seeing you on the links at an IJGT event this spring.
