Mr. Bryant has had a very successful PGA Tour career to date, which includes wins at the Memorial Tournament and TOUR Championship in 2005.
Live Scoring and BlueGolf T.V.
The IJGT will be using live scoring at the Bridgestone Tournament of Champions. Live scoring is a new interactive system and format that will allow any golf fan to follow complete coverage and be closer to our events. The purpose of live scoring is to bring parents, friends, fans, and specifically college coaches as close to the tournament action as possible. The value of live leader boards, will benefit all spectators that wish to follow the progress of multiple players at the event. While attending the competition, spectators may view/compare the live 9 and 18-hole scores from their smartphone. Those that cannot attend the event can even follow the action on the official BlueGolf T.V. from any location that has an internet connection. With 45 states and over 43 countries represented, page views are estimated at one million!
Scorecards, Course and Player Statistics, Player Profiles and much more!
Please note that each player’s scores will be recorded as they pass through the ninth hole and all scores are unofficial until players have signed for and agreed to at the official scoring table after the completion of their round.
The implementation of live scoring comes at a crucial time for tour members. Being the end of May, college coaches are finalizing scholarship offers, starting the recruiting process for 2012-2013 graduates, and are on tight schedules to be in attendance at all tournaments throughout the country. Live scoring will bring coaches closer to the IJGT juniors they are recruiting. The Bridgestone Tournament of Champions is a once in a lifetime opportunity to showcase talent to the world, and now can be seen minute by minute all weekend. This is one of many new initiatives the IJGT is planning to bring players, fans and coaches closer together and enhance the value of every junior membership.
