2012 Fall IJGT Schedule

The Fall 2012 IJGT Schedule is now Available

The IJGT is very excited about our upcoming Fall schedule which includes 30 events across the East Coast.  The first tournament events will take place on September 1st at Oldfield Golf Club in beautiful Okatie, SC and Hershey Country Club in famous Hershey, PA and our fall season will end with the 5th Annual Hank Haney Invitational.

Highlights from 2011-2012 IJGT Schedule:

Oldfield Golf Club - Results: Boys 15-19: Dak Spivey of Lloyd Harbor, NY captured his first win on the IJGT with a 3 round total of 2-over par, 218.  Boys 14 & Under: Joseph Bowker took home the win by an impressive 19 strokes.  Girls Division: Clementina Rodriguez captured her first victory on the IJGT with a 3 round total of 6-over par, 222.

Hershey Country Club - Results: Boys 15-19: There was a three-person playoff between Carey Bina, Isaiah Logue, and Evan Thornton. After they all pared the first playoff hole, Evan Thornton sank an 8-foot par putt to capture the victory on the second playoff hole.  Boys 14 & Under: Rij Patel took first place with a final round even, 71.  It was the low round of the tournament.  Girls Division: Anina Ku captured the win as the youngest competitor in the field.

Architects Golf Club - Results: Boys 15-19: Luke Edelman posted an impressive 2-under par, 140 score to secure the victory.  Boys 14 & Under: Walker Kirk captured the win by a margin of 5 strokes.  Girls Division: Gabriella Correia took home her second career win on the IJGT at Architects Golf Club.

TPC Sawgrass - Results: Boys 15-19: Tiger Lee secured the victory with a 3 round score of 221, which was 4 strokes better than his nearest competitor. Boys 14 & Under: Daulet Tuleubayev came from 2 strokes behind the leader in the final round to win the tournament. Girls Division: Ana Ruiz captured her first IJGT title of 2011. Her nearest competitor was 4 strokes behind her.  

Hank Haney Invitational (Played at Harbour Town Golf Links) - Boys 15-19: Matt Cheng took the crown with an outstanding first round of 5-under 65 and never looked back.  Boys 14 & Under: Daulet Tuleubayev earned an 8 stroke victory for his second consecutive victory on the IJGT.  Girls Division: Moyu Sasaki started the final round 1 stroke behind the leader but captured the victory with a 1 over 72.
