(Provo, Utah) – A member of the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) Josh Fisher played in the 73rd Provo Open Golf Tournament and Charity this past weekend, June 15-17. Fisher played exceptionally well earning a fourth place finish.

Fisher posted scores of 68-73-67 thru the three days giving him a total tournament score of 208, just one stroke shy of reaching the podium.  The young golfer is not new to the leader board; he finished 2nd in the Bridgestone Golf Tournament of Champions just three weeks ago on May 26-27.

The Provo open is played at the East Bay Golf Course in Provo, Utah. The three day event has two tournaments both professional and amateur. This year’s event benefited the Karl Tucker Foundation and supported the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of America.

Fisher will be back in action for the IJGT July 1-4, as he and Team USA face off against the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) in the North America Cup. This is a 3-day match play event held at the Oldfield Golf Club in Hilton Head Island, SC.
