IJGT Announces Southeast Major!

(Hilton Head Island, S.C) -  The International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) is proud to announce our Southeast Major Championship at Hampton Hall Country Club in Bluffton, S.C. The event, which will display some of the best junior golfers in the country, will take place on Nov. 10-11, 2012. The tournament will be a 36-hole, individual stroke play event.

Hampton Hall is a Pete Dye Signature golf course and is a links-style course that requires the utmost precision and accuracy. Opened in 2004, Hampton Hall will prove to be a genuine test for all competing golfers. We could not ask for a better venue to host the Major Championship.

All Top-10 finishers in IJGT Major Championships will earn DOUBLE Merit Points. At the end of the 2012-2013 season, the IJGT will select its All-IJGT Team based on the season long Merit Points Standings.

About the IJGT

The IJGT provides exceptional junior golfers with the opportunity to develop and showcase their competitive skills while setting high standards to preserve the traditions and integrity of the game.  As a tour that operates primarily throughout the academic year, the IJGT hosts approximately 60 tournaments annually.
