Junior Golfers to Take Center Stage at Bull Run Go

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC - On September 25, 2010, some of the world’s finest junior golfers will converge on the region of northern Virginia to take part in a 36-hole International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) event.

Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, Virginia will be the center of the IJGT golf universe beginning on Friday, September 24th, as the junior competitors begin practice round preparations for the start of Saturday’s first round.  The individual-stroke-play tournament will present the junior golfers with a unique mix of scenery and daunting challenges on the 6,979 yard, par 72 layout.

The tournament field will consist of junior’s ranging from 10-19 years of age with competition amongst four age divisions. Both male and female competitors can enter into two divisions respectively: U-14 and 15-19.
 
Tournament rounds are scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday morning, with the presentation of winner’s trophies immediately following Sunday’s final round.  To learn more about the tournament and to register, please go to the tournament webpage.
