Gai Wins Met Junior PGA Tournament of Champions

PURCHASE, NY – IJGT member Andrew Gai (Westport, CT) won the Metropolitan PGA Tournament of Champions on August 23rd-24^th at Old Oaks Country Club and Huntington Country Club. Gai fired rounds of 67 and 76 for a total score of 143 (1 under par). Gai won the event by nine strokes. In addition to his win, Gai was named 2010 Junior Met PGA Player of the Year. This summer, he won 7 out of 9 Met PGA Tournaments. Gai is a repeat champion after winning the same event in 2009.

Gai has participated on the IJGT for several years and has compiled 4 wins during this time. He is a senior and has committed to play at Campbell University for the Fall 2011 season.
