Levonowich Wins Golfweek Junior Series at Willbroo

PAWLEY’S ISLAND,SC – Minami Levonowich, a senior at Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy (Hank Haney IJGA) and member of the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT), won the Golfweek Junior Series at Willbrook Plantation this past weekend. A native of Hilton Head Island, SC, Levonowich fired rounds of 75 and 74 to finish with a total score of 149 (5 over par). She outlasted Trisha Witherby by one stroke, who shot rounds of 75 and 75 to finish with a total of 150 (6 over par).

In the Boy’s Division, Hank Haney IJGA had three students place in the top 10. Matt Adams, a senior at Hank Haney IJGA and native of Walnut Creek, CA, finished in second place with rounds of 72 and 75 (total of 147, 3 over par). With his second place finish, Adams received invitations to play in national Golfweek tournaments to be held in Florida and Arizona later this year.

Matt Cocco, a post-graduate student at Hank Haney IJGA, fired rounds of 78 and 70 to finish one stroke behind Adams at 4 over par (total of 148). Dak Spivey, also a senior at Hank Haney IJGA, finished in 8^th place with rounds of 80 and 74 (total of 154, 10 over par). Adams, Cocco, and Spivey are all members of the IJGT as well.
