Internship Opportunities
The International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) is always looking for qualified applicants with a passion for the game of golf to fill its intern staff. Internships range from Member Services and Sponsorship to Event Operations. These positions are available to current and recently graduated undergraduate and graduate students. Interns will be considered for full-time employment upon the successful completion of their internship. Here are our current internship opportunities:
Volunteer Opportunities
The IJGT needs and relies on volunteers to help events run as smooth as possible and to ensure events are enjoyable for everyone involved. If you would like to volunteer at a tournament in your area, please take a minute to review our schedule and call the IJGT at (800) 792-9143, or e-mail info@ijgt.com.
Host Family Opportunities
The IJGT would like to provide parents and families with the opportunity to get more involved. We have created a program that allows families that live close to our venues to assist the tournament staff. Under this program, families have the opportunity to:
- House out-of-town players and families
- Facilitate local media and press coverage
- Obtain tournament gift items
- Obtain local sponsorship
- Organize player outings (cookouts, local tourist attractions, etc.)
- Acquire volunteers for tournament rounds
- Acquire fruit and energy snacks from local grocery stores
