Invitationals
Major Championships
There will be 6-8 Major Championships conducted throughout the season. IJGT Competitors can earn their preferred registration into a Major Championship by performing well in open IJGT events. Competitors who compete in these Major events will receive DOUBLE MERIT POINTS towards the Tour Rankings, which increases opportunities to qualify for other Invitational events and Junior Amateur events. Additionally, at these events, all players will receive a dozen golf balls, towel, hat, wrist band, golf shirt and an IJGT backpack. Fun activities such as putting contest, closest to the pin and a glow in the dark long drive contest will be performed at these events.
International Junior Golf Tour: Major Championship
Preferred Registration Criteria 2011-12

Eligibility
Entries are open to all International Junior Golf Tour Members who are in good standing, (a) will not reach their 20th birthday by the day of the final round of the Major Championship (b) have not enrolled full-time in a college or university (c) conform to the USGA Rules of Amateur Status as specified in the USGA Rules of Golf (d) and have competed in an IJGT qualifying event.

| Category 11 | IJGT Golf Family performance based entry exemptions |
| Category 12 | High School State Individual Winners |
| Category 13 | Local / regional players may be added by the Tournament Committee |

International Junior Golf Tour: 4th Annual Hank Haney Invite

The Hank Haney Invitational is one of the Tour's prestigious events on the fall schedule. The tournament field will comprise of top junior golfers from across the United States and abroad. The competition will be a true IJGT Tour Event with the inclusion of a player/family banquet. Hank Haney, our guest of honor, will welcome all tournament participants and share his knowledge and experience on junior golf. This event will be held at the Harbour Town Golf Links, home of the PGA TOUR RBC Heritage (formerly Verizon Heritage), and Ocean Course located in Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island.

Tournament of Champions
The Tournament of Champions takes place each May over Memorial Day weekend at Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, FL. The Tournament of Champions will be held on Jack Nicklaus signature designs East/North and New golf courses. In addition to the three tournament rounds, the IJGT Tournament of Champions will include the Awards Banquet on Sunday evening at the Grand Cypress Hyatt and special gifts from IJGT and other sponsors.
Since 1999, the IJGT has hosted its Tournament of Champions at the Grand Cypress Resort. This year, the Tournament of Champions will feature over 200 golfers from around the world that have earned an invitation during the regular season.

North America Cup

The North America Cup pits 14 of the IJGT's best players from the 2011-2012 season against 14 of the Canadian Junior Golf Association’s (CJGA) finest golfers in a 3 day match play event. Each year, the event switches host country with the 2011 event held at the Weston Golf Club in Toronto, Canada. In 2012, the IJGT Team USA will host the CJGA Team Canada at a course to be determined in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Team USA has won the coveted North America Cup 4 years in a row and seven of the nine total competitions. Fourball matches, foursome matches, and singles matches make up the three competition rounds. Juniors
Juniors who wish to qualify for IJGT Team USA for the North America Cup must qualify through the various sites outlined in the 2011-2012 IJGT tournament schedule.
Juniors must meet the following requirements:
- Juniors must meet the age requirement outlined in the international event.
- Juniors must be a member of the International Junior Golf Tour.
- Juniors must be in good standing with the IJGT.
- Juniors who are selected for IJGT Team USA must be an American citizen.
Selection for IJGT Team USA
The IJGT Team USA Selection Committee will determine the juniors who represent IJGT Team USA by the following process:
- Winners of the 2011-2012 Major Series of Events
- The Winners of the Hank Haney Invitational
- Player's standings on Order of Merit
- Prior tournament experience
- Handicap Index
- The IJGT reserves the right to select team members outside the qualifying requirements.

Euro Junior Cup
The Euro Junior Golf Cup takes us back to golf's humble beginnings in St. Andrews, Scotland. Every year, the IJGT compiles a team of 14 talented junior golfers to travel across the pond and compete in a unique triangular match play event against the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) Team Canada and The FIFE Team Scotland. Compete on 3 of Scotland's finest courses for the John Clark Trophy, awarded every year to the winning team. Team USA stays at the famous St. Andrews University for the duration of the event, which is just minutes away from The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience that will create memories and friendships that last a lifetime. The dates for this event are set for the last week in July.
