Alumni Annie Freman, Riley Leming land Top 10 at Bronco Fall Classic

The International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) had two alumni, Annie Freman and Riley Leming, compete with their respective schools at the Bronco Fall Classic in Kuna, Idaho on Sept. 16-17.

annie fremanFreman (left)a freshman at Santa Clara University, shot a final 217 (+1) to finish tied-for-second overall and helped her team secure a first place win among the 10 schools competing. In just her third collegiate event, Freman was able to collect a remarkable runner-up finish, only two shots behind teammate Kaci McCartan (215).

Freman, from Las Vegas, played in the IJGT Wigwam event in 2011, where she ended 6th overall. Her next event with the Santa Clara Women’s Golf team comes up on Sept. 23-24 at the Washington State Cougar Cup.

riley lemingLeming (right), golfing in her sophomore year at Portland State University, carded a 220 after three rounds, good for a 10th place finish. After notching two consecutive 2-over rounds on Day 1, Leming was able to up the ante, grabbing five birdies in the final round to give her a -2 score for the day. This performance helped her team take 3rd place for the tournament.

Hailing from Murietta, Calif., Leming also partook in the 2011 Wigwam event for IJGT, landing a T7  finishPortland State’s Women’s Golf will also compete in the Sept. 23-24 Washington State Cougar Cup.
