Some Bridgestone Tournament of Champions best moments featured in IJGT Photos of the Week – May 26, 2014

As the IJGT rounded out a spectacular spring season, it was no wonder why the Bridgestone Tournament of Champions was a success. Held over the holiday weekend on May 24-26, 2014, at the Grand Cypress Golf Club & Resort, the tournament featured over 130 of the IJGT’s finest juniors battling not only for national rankings but also for the prestigious title.

With temperatures feeling more like summer, the sunny and hot weather still yielded high-quality golf in each division. To accompany the three rounds of tournament play, the event offered family-friendly activities such as a welcome reception, the Bridgestone Longest Drive Competition, a thrilling evening at Universal parks and a “Night of Champions” banquet to honor the All-IJGT Team.

This week’s Photo of the Week includes five photos from each event of the Bridgestone Tournament of Champions.

Using his final round as a driving force, Ingram shaved eight strokes from his rounds one and two scores to post a 1-under-par 71 for round three. Nine total birdies helped to lift Ingram to seventh place but it was his 16 holes of par or better that truly made his performance elite.
