Fischer, Bagasbas earn IJGT Player of the Week Honors – Feb. 10, 2015

The IJGT traveled to San Francisco, Calif., to host the first west coast tournament of the spring season, the Major Championship at Presidio Golf Club, on February 7-8, 2015. Inclement weather forced the cancellation of round two, resulting in a shortened one-day, 18-hole event. Following the tournament, the IJGT is proud to award this week’s Player of the Week honors to Austin Fischer of Orinda, Calif., and Angela Bagasbas of San Ramon, Calif.

Austin Fischer

Fischer made par on five consecutive holes on the front nine, holes No. 4 through 8. He then repeated the feat on the back nine making par on holes No. 11 through 15. The par-4 12th hole was arguably the most difficult on the course. Fischer’s tournament total of 79 earned him a fourth place finish.
