HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) is set to return to Durham, N.C., April 6-7, for the College Classic at Duke University . Held at the Duke University Golf Club , the IJGT College Classic will feature elite junior golfers from around the world competing for national recognition and IJGT Merit points.

A Robert Trent Jones Sr. design, the University Golf Course features meandering streams and towering pines. When the course opened to the public in 1957 it quickly was labeled as one of the top university golf facilities in the nation. The attention was great enough to attract the 1962 Men’s NCAA Golf Championship.

Duke University Golf Course went through major renovations in 1993 by Rees Jones who scrutinized every shot possibility and observed and considered every angle to insure that each nuance of the golf course would be subtle, yet perfectly placed. Duke University Golf Course will challenge even the best golfers testing their shot placement and accuracy around the green.
