The International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) will be in Savannah, Ga. for the Georgia Junior on February 22-23, 2014 at The Club at Savannah Harbor. The 36-hole tournament will span both days while players compete for IJGT Merit Points and national rankings.

Ranked in Golfweek’s top-15 list of best places to play in Georgia, The Club at Savannah Harbor was designed by Robert Cupp and Sam Snead. Each hole features its own legendary story and caters to golfers of varying abilities. The course’s lengthy fairways are hilly and laced with bunkers to add to the challenge of the course.
The Boys 15-19 Division will feature competitive golfers including Hyun Woong “Harry” Jin of Palisades Park, N.J., and Will Miles of Hilton Head Island, S.C. Miles has not placed outside of the top-10 since September of 2012 and comes off a recent second-place playoff finish after at the Carolina Classic at Colleton River Plantation on January 25-26, 2014. Jin concluded 2013 play with a 4th-place finish at the IJGT Invitational in December and tied for fifth at the Island Open at Dolphin Head Golf Club on February 8-9, 2014.
Though small, the Boys 14 & Under Division will feature both tenured players and newcomers alike. Joseph Tammaro of West Islip, N.Y., will makes his first tournament appearance while Alexander Camberos of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, will look to continue to boost his resume after two consecutive third-place finishes in 2014 play.
Kayla Kozak of Bluffton, S.C., will look to lead the Girls Division and add another victory to her first-place finish at the Carolina Classic at Colleton River Plantation Golf Club on January 25-26, 2014. Kozak’s 12th place finish in the 2013 Georgia Junior was her only finish outside of the top-10 for her 2013-2014 season thus far.
