Georgia Open at Savannah Quarters– Tour Preview

The IJGT will be hosting the Georgia Open at Savannah Quarters at Savannah Quarters Country Club on October 18-19, 2014. This 18-hole two day event will span the weekend to allow juniors to compete for IJGT merit points and national rankings.

Players to watch in the Boys 15-19 Division include Shiso Go of Kanagawa, Japan, and Tennoshin Ogawa of Ichinomiya-shi, Japan. Go, currently first in the IJGT Boys 15-19 Divisional Tour Rankings, boasts three top-three victories in as many events for the 2014-2015 season. Ogawa, currently third in the IJGT Boys 15-19 Divisional Tour Rankings, looks to defend his 2013-2014 Georgia Open at Savannah Quarters first-place finish.

In the Boys 14 & Under Division, Thomas Pfoestl of Schenna, Italy, will look to take home his third top-three finish finish in an IJGT event this season. Pfoestl is currently first in the IJGT Boys 14 & Under Divisional Tour Rankings.

Watch for Lita Huber of Montevideo, Uruguay, as she looks to improve on her 12th place 2013-2014 Georgia Open at Savannah Quarters finish.
