The NCAA DI Men’s Golf Regional Championships selections were announced on the Golf Channel on Monday, May 4, 2015. To see the full list, click here. The IJGT is proud to have a number of alums competing in the six 54-hole regional tournaments to be held May 14-16. The winners from the regional championships will advance to the finals, which will be held at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla., on May 29-June 3. Below is a list of IJGT ELITE members selected to participate as individuals in the regional championships.

University of North Carolina Finley Golf Course — Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Marika Liu (Yale) will be competing as an individual in the NCAA DI Women’s Golf Regional Championship at Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas. The tournament, hosted by the University of Texas, San Antonio, will be held on May 7-9.

In other exciting news, the USA GOLF Federation announced on Thursday that Beau Hossler was one of four golfers chosen to represent the United States when golf debuts at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto this July. A sophomore on the University of Texas golf team, Hossler won the 2014 World Amateur Team Championships. To read the rest of the announcement, and learn more about the Pan Am Games, click here.

Ben Schlottman became the first freshman in Auburn history to be named All-SEC first team! He was also named the SEC freshman of the year. To read more, click here.

John Chaney, senior captain of the Wittenberg Tigers’ men’s golf team, earned the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC)’s Bob Nye Award, awarded annually to the NCAC Championship medalist. He and the Tigers earned their sixth consectutive NCAA DIII tournament berth; they will be competing at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C., on May 12-15.
