IJGT ELITE record five top-10 NCAA finishes

While the east coast may be experiencing below-freezing temperatures and snow, it’s warm enough to play golf in other parts of the country. Over the past week, the IJGT ELITE competed in collegiate tournaments in California, Texas and Florida. The following IJGT ELITE members recorded top-10 finishes in NCAA tournaments last week:

Peg Barnard Invitational — Stanford, CA — February 14-15, 2015

Cassy Isagawa (Oregon), the 2008 IJGT Champion at Temecula Creek, shot a 1-under 141 to tie for fourth and contribute to the Ducks’ win.

Folino Invitational — City of Industry, CA — February 16-17, 2015

Mariano Rossi (Grand Canyon), a fourth-place finisher in the 2011 IJGT Major Championship at World Golf Village, finished fifth with a tournament total of 3-over 219.

Nico Mendoza (Cal State Fullerton), the 2011 IJGT Major Championship at Temecula Creek Inn champion, tied for sixth with a 4-over 220 tournament total. Mendoza shot a 4-under 68 in round one.

Delta Gamma Invitational — New Braunfels, Texas — February 15-16, 2015

Wenny Chang (Lamar), who had two top-10 finishes on the IJGT, tied for ninth with a 1-over 143. She carded a 1-under 70 in round two.

Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate — Orange Park, Florida — February 16-17, 2015

Charlie Durman (West Georgia), who tallied five top-10 finishes on the IJGT, tied for 10th with a tournament total of 10-over 226 to contribute to the Wolves’ win.
