Christina ParsellsChristina Parcells at the South Jersey Open at Blue Heron Pines

The International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) held the South Jersey Open at Blue Heron Pines in Cologne, N.J. on Oct. 12-13, where persistent wind and rain made for a challenging playing field for the junior golfers. Nonetheless, this week’s Photo of the Week contest was close, with the winning picture going to Christina Parsells of Bernardsville, N.J. Playing in her second season with the IJGT, Parsells placed fifth in the tournament with an 83-85–168 (+13), just two shots behind winner, Raphaella Kang. Parsells, coming off a recent win at the Major Championship at Crystal Springs in Hamburg, N.J. on Sept. 7-8, kept up her strong play en route to her second consecutive top five effort. We look forward to seeing her tenacity in upcoming events!
