Ogawa finished the back nine of round two with even-par 36 to finish 1-under on the day and one stroke in front of Byrne.

Byrne finished second with a two-day score of 144. Rounding out the Boys 15-19 Division in third was Shiso Go of Kanagawa, Japan, who combined scores of 75 and 71 for a tournament total of 146.

“My driving was best [strength] this weekend,” said Ogawa.
