IJGT alumnus, Martin Piller wins Tour’s Digital Ally Open

IJGT alumnus, Martin Piller of Dallas, Texas, collected his second title of the year on the Tour after winning the Digital Ally Open on August 9, 2015 in Overland Park, Kan. He finished the tournament at 26-under and earned a four-stroke victory, his second Tour victory in three starts. Piller had the 54-hole lead going into the final round where he carded a bogey-free 5-under 66 to claim the victory. With the title, Piller moved into second position on the Tour’s Money List, where the Top 25 finishers will automatically earn their PGA Tour for the 2015-2016 season.

On the IJGT, Martin Piller won the IJGT at ChampionsGate in October of 2002 with scores of 70-72-69.

Other IJGT alumni with notable finishes were Sebastian Vazquez of Mexico City, Mexico, and Michael Kim of Del Mar, Calif., who finished in a tie for third place with scores of 20-under, 264. Vazquez was a Monday qualifier at the Digital Ally Open.
