Paula Creamer could have had that putt all day long and never made it. But when it counted, she drained a 75-foot eagle putt to win the 2014 HSBC Women’s Championship in a two-hole playoff in Singapore last Sunday, March 2, 2014. Creamer, who had not won on the LPGA Tour since her 2010 U.S. Women’s Open victory, went into a playoff with Azahara Munoz after both women tied with a 10-under 278. Paula, a 2000 IJGT Champion at Port Ludlow and Top-5 finisher at the 2000 IJGT Tour Championship, began her career in her early teenage years with the IJGT. The IJGT celebrates Paula’s most recent victory (including her incredble putt!), and looks forward to seeing her continue to excel on the LPGA Tour! Congrats again, Paula!

IJGT ELITE Class Announced by the IJGT

Introducing IJGT Elite Class Series

Beginning this week, the IJGT is proud to announce the beginning of a new series of blog posts meant to highlight the ongoing success of our alumni, and continue to showcase how our alumni perform at the next levels of elite competition.

The IJGT ELITE will feature top performances by IJGT alumni in the NCAA, PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, European Tour and other elite levels of competition throughout the golf season. With alumni such as Rickie Fowler, Morgan Pressel, Paula Creamer, Annie Park, Cheyenne Woods, and other highly-successful golfers, the IJGT continues the tradition of helping to shape world-class golfers through high-level competition at the best courses in the country.

As we highlight these achievements, we hope to shed light on the immense impact that higher competition provides to junior golfers and their future in the sport, and we encourage our members to contact us about the success of our alumni.
