Hilton Head Island, SC: The Spring weather has finally arrived and with that comes time to turn up the dial on the Spring golf season for juniors all over the country. The Faldo Series and IJGT announced their partnership in the Fall of 2017, offering junior golfers in the United States an opportunity to compete on the world stage. The Faldo Series hosts 35 annual tournaments in 30 countries worldwide, and has set the stage for junior golfers internationally to compete in high stakes competition against the best players in the world.

By way of qualifiers, the top two finishing players from the Faldo Series Boys U-18 and Boys U-16 divisions will earn invitations to the Faldo Series U.S. Grand Final to be held at Bella Collina Golf Club in Montverde, FL. Additionally, the highest finishing Girls players in the U-18 and U-16 divisions earn an invitation to the U.S. Grand Final.

Set to host the New Jersey Qualifier, Architects Golf Club is a bi-annual stop for the IJGT, as it is one of the favorite venues on the schedule for junior golfers. Rated as one of the top three public courses in the state of New Jersey, The Architects Golf Club is a course takes you on a memorable adventure as you play holes designed to pay tribute to the best golf course designers in the history of the game.

In the Fall of 2017, Architects hosted a Faldo Qualifier for the 2017 edition of the Faldo Series U.S. final. Jairus Gaines of Baltimore, MD was the winner of the event in the Boys Division and went on to play in the star-studded U.S. Final, while the Girls champion was Inseo Huh of Closter, NJ.

White Manor Country Club is set to host its first Faldo Qualifier for the Pennsylvania Championship portion of the events. The fantastic Bobby Weed redesigned course is home to the Villanova University Men’s golf team and hosts a number of top junior and collegiate tournaments every year. Golf Week Magazine ranks White Manor as the number three modern design golf course and fourteen overall in the state of Pennsylvania.

Past champions of IJGT events at White Manor include Neal Shipley of Pittsburgh, PA and Rylie Heflin of Avondale, PA. This year, players will be playing for more with a chance to earn an invitation to the Faldo Series U.S. Grand Final.
