LAUSHELL SOARS TO VICTORY AT RADLEY RUN
Morrisville Native Puts Up Red Numbers on Sunday for a Wire-to-Wire Victory
West Chester, PA: The International Junior Golf Tour returned to the Northeast part of its Fall Schedule as it hosted the annual Philly Open at Radley Run Country Club. The West Chester course has been a great host to the IJGT for a number of years now, as juniors from around the Northeast competed for IJGT Merit Points, and many National Rankings.
In the Boys Under 19 Division, Patrick Laushell was able to walk away as weekend champion after consecutive low rounds in a wire-to-wire victory. Laushell, a native of nearby Morrisville, PA, put together weekend scores of 76 and a one-under 71 on Sunday. Laushell finished the weekend with a total score of 147 (3-over Par).
Finishing in second place for the weekend is Benny Hagerty of Manasquan, NJ. Hagerty had a stellar showing on Sunday afternoon shooting a 76 for a sole finish in second-place. Hagerty paired his round-two score with an opening 85 for a 161 finish. Rounding out the top-three for the Boys U-19 Division is Conrad Benford of Parker Ford, PA. Benford had a solid weekend with scores of 85 and 81 for a 166 finish.
For the Boys Under 16 Division, it was Philadelphia’s own John Bradbeer taking first place after solid play over both rounds. Bradbeer opened up the weekend with of score of 79 then followed with a 73 on Sunday, including a walk-off Birdie on the 18th hole. Bradbeer finished the weekend with a score of 152.
In second-place is Peter Meehan of Fairfield, CT. Meehan finished the weekend after rounds of 83 and 84 for a total score of 167. Rounding out the top-three is Jackson Debusschere. A resident of nearby Wallingford, PA, Debusschere finished the weekend with rounds of 86 and 83, finishing with a score of 169.
In the final competition of the weekend, Sarah Hendrickson was able to step back into the winners circle with a solid showing at Radley Run. Hendrickson, a native of Bel Air, MD shot scores of 94 and 99 over the weekend competition. In second-place for the weekend is Rebecca Maude of Scarsdale, NY. Maude put together finishes the weekend competition with rounds of 107 and 93.

Boys Under 19 Division: Blue Tees, 6,494 Yards, 72.3/126. Boys Under 16 Division: White Tees, 6,159 Yards, 70.0/132. Girls Division: Gold Tees, 5,814 Yards, 73.9/130.
